Cupping is one of the best deep tissue therapies available. For centuries, cupping has been used as an essential part of traditional medicine. The cupping effect is produced by using heat to create a suction action within glass or ceramic cups ( or using air suction) that are placed on the skin. The cups can be left in place or moved along the affected area. This technique is used to relieve back and neck pain, muscle stiffness and spasms, and rheumatism. Cupping treatment can even help clear congestion from the common cold. Cupping is soothing, gentle, and very relaxing.

Auricular Acupuncture

Auricular or Ear acupuncture is a diagnostic and treatment system based on a microsystem that enhances homeostasis of the body. This is achieved by placing needles, beads, and or magnets on corresponding points on the ear. Bacic forms of Ear acupuncture are traced back to ancient Egypt, Rome, Greece, and all the Mediterranean. Dr. Paul Nogier, a neurologist from Lyon, France is considered the Father of Modern Ear Acupuncture. In 1950, Dr. Nogier speculated that the technique works because groups of pluripontent (stem) cells contain information from the whole organism and create regional organization centers representing different parts of the body. Modern research is confirming the efficacy of auricular therapy for the amelioration of pain and illness. As a result of the past 50 years of research, the Department of Defense recently incorporated Auricular Therapy as a treatment modality of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and chronic pain for our veterans.

Magnetic Therapy

Magnetic Therapy is the use of small, bead-like, magnets placed on acupuncture points to enhance your treatment. Magnetic therapy is especially suited for children.

Nutrition

Diet and nutrition are words that are in everyones vocabulary today. In a world of continual assault on our systems, fast foods, GMO, and environmental stress and toxins, care must be taken to fortify our bodies with their most basic and essential nutritional requirements. With a good diet, vitamins, minerals, essential oils, and enzyme therapy, optimal health and prevention of degenerative disease can be achieved.

Herbal Medicine

Herbs are a safe and natural alternative and adjunct to western drug therapies. Plants that have been used by Oriental Medical Doctors for centuries are known to contain similar chemicals to those used to treat the same conditions in traditional western medicine, without side effects. Through modern techniques such as freeze drying, ancient proven formulas can now be easily taken in pill, powder, and liquid forms.
